better

So my knee is much much better. I only walked today just to make sure I did't hurt it anymore, and I also did my strength training and kettle bells

Above is from yesterday I was in the middle of posting when Brian came home and distracted me

Today I ran/walked for 30minutes Sara called during my cool down and I forgot to stop my RunKeeper so I don't know all my stats.

Swollen Knee

So I totally should have run yesterday cause I banged my knee yesterday and now it's swollen. I did run/walk today but only for 20minutes. My knee didn't hurt while I was running but I thought "I can't afford to fix it, so I better take it easy" I did get stopped by a land surveyor so I ended 30sec's early. My average speed was 11:55, 1.64 miles in 19:34minutes.

training?

Friday was crazy running around and cleaning for Carter's party. Today Brian worked far so I didn't get home until after 9 and I was starving so I ate. It's 90% humidity out and I have piles and piles of laundry...so I'm not training today. I did look at the calendar and we don't officially start training until the week of Christmas! That makes me feel better.

2nd 35 minute run/walk

Towards the end of my run I could feel the muscles waking up in my legs I think they were saying "your using us again? Okay we're gonna make you earn us back!" So I think I'm going to rest tomorrow. Although I have to mow the lawn. Today I ran/ walked 3 miles in 35 minutes average  pace 11:39 I concentrated on keeping my walking pace up.

Cross Training

Today I did around 30 minutes on the Elliptical machine. I did 2.5miles going forward and 1 mile going backwards. Tomorrow I'm supposed to rest but I think I'm going to "weight train" and save my rest day's for when Carter is out of school. I'm just not ready to run with him yet.

first 35minute walk run

So I did my first ever 35minute walk run. It was different. At first I was really trying to keep my walking pace up ut have way through I stopped paying attention. I'm used to running to finish a distance not running for a certain amount of time. I ran/walked 2.96miles average pace 11.51 for 35 minutes. I use RunKeeper ap on my iPhone to keep track of milage, pace, and time.
